I started this blog to record and share what I believe are things from the Lord. 

I have been a Christian for many years. During that time, I have tried several times to journal.  You know what I mean...it's where you get a notebook and pen, and you sit quietly before the Lord hoping that He speaks to you.  Well, each time, that usually lasted for a couple of days, with not much to show for it.

 Somewhere along this journey, I asked God a question.  It was about something I didn't understand in the Bible, and this time, I think He answered!  (I was surprised because I had asked Him questions before...but I don't remember Him answering me ...maybe I wasn't hearing too well...not sure.)  Anyway, I recorded this in my journal...and other times that I believed I received answers to questions.  Also, any other aha moments I had where God opened up my understanding of scriptures in the Bible, etc.  (I'm not talking about a lot of these ...maybe a couple a year...) 

Several years ago, I believe He wanted me to start a blog to share these... but I thought about it... and said no way. (Some of the things I would be sharing could be considered "controversial".)  Also, you know how it is about hearing from the Lord (for me, anyway), you think it was from the Lord...you hope it is from the Lord... 

Anyway, I didn't start a blog ... and His speaking kind of dried up.... 

Recently He started to "encourage" me again about starting a blog.  I very reluctantly agreed and started researching how to set one up.

This blog is the result. 

Please remember I'm no theologian...and I don't have a halo over my head ...its' just what I think I'm hearing the Lord say to me. Please...just take it for what it is... just trying to understand the Bible better...asking God questions ...trying to journal...trying to grow in the Lord...trying to be obedient to the Lord.
